One of the more obvious reasons that Yale’s smart locks are secure is that they do NOT have a lock to pick or damage. They have reinforced bolts holding them to the door so extremely difficult to prise from the door.

Other smart locks are available and some come with a lock to be used as a backup for instead of using the smart lock, however, the flaw is the fact that the locks can be picked and access gained the same way they can if you had a standard lock
